The Shareholder Tracker is an online database of corporate stock investments scraped from quarterly 13F forms submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Human rights activists can use the tool to search, download, and trace investments to their original sources and, in doing so, “follow the money” and identify actors indirectly connected to harmful development projects through upstream investment chains.
